Job Description
The Index Options Team is seeking a Senior Index Volatility Trader to contribute to their volatility valuation detailed and fastgrowing technology. This individual will contribute to their ability to properly price volatility and take market risks with the hopes of growing into a leading volatility trading desk in the marketplace.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Maximize revenue by identifying and monetizing short and longterm mispricing as well as managing the resulting positions
- Take on responsibility and ownership of your executions to drive the Index Options strategy forward
- Collaborate with the team to develop a deep level of expertise and innovation in the Index Options space
Your Skills and Experience:
- 2 years of experience as an Index Volatility Trader
- Demonstrated success managing positions and risk for a large Index Options Desk
- Experience with programming preferably in Python
- Proven ability to work in a fastpaced and competitive environment with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Deep understanding of analytics and the fundamental drivers of volatility dynamics
- BS MS or PhDpreferably in business economics or STEM is required
The Base Salary range for the role is included below.
