Job Description

As a Store Manager you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering outstanding customer service. The Pittsburgh Paints Co. is hiring a motivated Store Manager. You will report to the Operations Manager and work onsite 100 of the time in San Marcos TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and profit plan by controlling expenses working capital inventory shrinkage and growing net contribution.
  • Focus on customer service by ensuring that high service standards are maintained.
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of associate engagement through leadership by training mentoring motivating and resolving associate issues.
  • Maintain understanding of local market operationsbased selling and customer base.
  • Ensure that the appearance of the stores exterior and interior including merchandizing displays are maintained to required standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification with 1 years of retail store experience required.
  • Knowledge of application and use of paint and sundries is favorable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Internet applications required.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and hours minimum 45 hours required per week; must have a valid drivers license.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 4060 pounds daily.
  • Must consent to a background investigation drug screen and motor vehicle record check.
