As a Store Manager you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering outstanding customer service. The Pittsburgh Paints Co. is hiring a motivated Store Manager. You will report to the Operations Manager and work onsite 100 of the time in San Marcos TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profit plan by controlling expenses working capital inventory shrinkage and growing net contribution.
- Focus on customer service by ensuring that high service standards are maintained.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of associate engagement through leadership by training mentoring motivating and resolving associate issues.
- Maintain understanding of local market operationsbased selling and customer base.
- Ensure that the appearance of the stores exterior and interior including merchandizing displays are maintained to required standards.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent certification with 1 years of retail store experience required.
- Knowledge of application and use of paint and sundries is favorable.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Internet applications required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and hours minimum 45 hours required per week; must have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 4060 pounds daily.
- Must consent to a background investigation drug screen and motor vehicle record check.
