Job Description

Job Title:Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry
Grade:Specialty Dr
Location: Sheffield Yorkshire
Working Hours:40
Rate:Competitive to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry work full time hours per week for our NHS client based in Sheffield Yorkshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a shortterm contract.

What will your responsibilities be

Under the supervision of the Consultant the Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry is responsible for conducting assessments and managing psychiatric male inpatients. The role involves supporting resident doctors and the wider team in patient management as well as assisting the Consultant with paperwork related to the Mental Health Act. Section 12 approval is essential for this position.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Full GMC license to practice
  • Section 12 Approved
  • General Adult Psychiatry experience
