Job Description

Job Title:Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Grade:Specialty Doctor
Location:Tunbridge Wells Kent
Working Hours:16 hours per week
Rate:Competitive to be discussed upon application

We are seeking a committed Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to work part-time for our NHS client based in Tunbridge Wells Kent. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be

This role involves working within a CAMHS outpatient setting supporting children and adolescents with mental health and neurodevelopmental difficulties. You will be responsible for conducting assessments formulating treatment plans and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality community-based care. The postholder will also be expected to participate in clinical meetings and maintain documentation in line with NHS standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

GMC registration (essential)
Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
Inclusion on the Specialist Register (CCT)
Experience in CAMHS outpatient services and managing neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A strong commitment to patient-centred care
