Description

UL is seeking an Automotive Cybersecurity Advisor who will be leading audits and assessments of automotive cybersecurity processes and systems. Required are at least five years of experience in either automotive cybersecurity or relevant related domains in cybersecurity and/or auditing. The Automotive Cybersecurity Advisor will lead the audits and assessments of automotive processes and products for clients seeking compliance to standards in cybersecurity including ISO/SAE 21434:2021 ISO 24089:2023 UNECE WP.29 R155 and R156 and other similar standards relevant to systemsand softwareengineering and secure development lifecycle.



Responsibilities
  • Lead the review or assessment of cybersecurity products and processes for clients seeking compliance to relevant cybersecurity standards in vehicle cybersecurity.
  • Employ established methods and frameworks relevant to cybersecurity and related fields to lead the review or audit of cybersecurity cases for complex softwareintensive systems.
  • Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to colleagues on automotive cybersecurity and related technical fields.
  • Proactively identifies relevant industry trends and drive knowledge / expertise development in this domain by coaching colleagues and taking ownership of activities to increase customer awareness of UL (including papers articles conference attendance).


Qualifications
  • University Degree (Equivalent to a Masters degree) preferably in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology Mathematics or a related technical discipline.
  • Relevant 5 years of experience and/or equivalent training and certification in cybersecurity.
  • Experience with ISO/SAE 21434:2021 ISO 24089:2023 R155/R156 standards or related standards in automotive cybersecurity and software update.
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to communicate clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Be resilient and have collaborative profile being able to coach colleagues share knowledge and work in various teams at the same time.
  • Have a proven history of responsibility accuracy and attention to details.
  • Understands the importance of addressing customer needs.
  • Be able to travel regionally.
