Job Summary:

The Trade Compliance (TM) Technical Analyst will share the responsibility for design implementation and support of business solutions implemented in Emersons instance Trade Management applications. The Technical Analyst performs the key role of onboarding new ERPs within Emerson into the Trade Compliance footprint. Manage the mapping of data from the source ERP to the 3rd party applications. The Technical Analyst applies expertise in Trade Compliance to offer assistance in the continuous implementation improvement and support of Trade Compliance functionality.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide support (e.g. break/fix how to expertise improvements monitoring testing resolving) for the Trade Compliance applications. Some current Trade Compliance functions include restricted party screening item classification ERP Trade Compliance integration projects for Master Data and Export (Sales Orders) Transactional Screening. Nearterm projects include ERP Trade Compliance integration for expanded Export (Shipment/Delivery) Transactional Screening Import (Purchase Order) Transactional Screening License Management etc.
  • Works closely with Trade Compliance and ERP IT Program/Project Managers to understand program requirements and assist with the evaluation mapping and alternative solutions if applicable.
  • Have good understanding about Emerson standard Integration tools and methodologies for onboarding new ERP and sites to the Trade Compliance footprint.
  • Prepare Technical requirement and Standards documentation for the application and its modules.
  • Assist with program rollout activities including business unit and trading partner onboarding project coordination status reporting and communication to program management.
  • Works closely with 3rdparty technical personnel to optimize technical solutions and guarantee successful knowledge transfer to internal Technical Team members.
  • Monitoring processes identifying trends and analyzing data helps them develop longterm plans to prevent recurring issues and ensure high service levels.
  • Ensures system documentation is complete and maintained.
  • Works effectively in a global highly matrixed team environment.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • 4 to 8 years of IT experience including implementation and support of Trade Management within the last year.
  • Technical Trade Compliance expert in setup configuration master data user configuration workbench setup and integration with external systems).
  • Hands on experience with triage of daytoday Trade Compliance systems issues and providing resolution on complex issues.
  • Working knowledge of PLSQL JSON XML file formats.
  • Knowledge of Logistics management principles and processes.
  • Broad knowledge and experience with various ERP systems. Solid understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite (Procurement Shipping XML Gateway) is highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills including comfort with presenting to diverse technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multitask and work within diverse multidisciplinary global project teams.
  • Diligent with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Comfortable with performing detailed data analysis to find opportunities and gain higher level insight.
  • Some travel required.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science Information Systems or another related field.
