Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for the activities associated with completion of igned Solutions proposal packages including RFQ and specification review and compliance product selection architecture cost estimation and risk analysis to achieve the companys business objective of providing accurate and timely costbased estimates and accompanying proposals. Requires coordination of technical and commercial design activities with the appropriate sales personnel engineering resources technical support consultants project management personnel and other proposal department members. The key objective is to provide internal and external customers with a quality proposal document backed by an accurate cost estimate.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Reviews customer technical and commercial specifications / requirements and determines the adequacy of the supplied information to develop the requested deliverable.
Accurately interpret scope of work customer specifications and apply the optimum technical solution.
Designs the proposal response schedules all activities and coordinates the completion of those activities to meet the customers deadline.
Attends customer prebid meetings provides technical and commercial support at customer proposal review meetings.
Applies company standards and solutions to meet customer requirements. This requires that the proposal manager stay current on all Yokogawa technical publications.
Coordinates proposal activities with the appropriate sales personnel legal counsel technical consultants project and application engineering personnel.
Estimates all costs related to Yokogawa equipment and related software subvendors project and engineering including identifying and estimating costs associated with identifiable risks.
Reviews all quotes and technical responses for accuracy and completeness including requesting technical reviews by Project or Service Delivery team members as required.
Leads the price strategy decisions with sales and project strategy decisions with Projects or Service Delivery teams.
Prepares complete proposal packages including approvals for review by Project or Services Delivery Management for all assigned proposals including presentation of these materials to Management in the Proposal Review Meeting.
Verifies purchase orders and prepares Booking packages.
Acts as the lead in the handing over System or Service project proposals.
Follows all proposal guidelines processes and procedures.
Development of pitch and presentation/ clarification/ review for quotation/ tender if any
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
BS in Engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Master in Digital Solutions or related valuable.
Experience:
3 years in Sales activities. Valuable experience in Energy Manufacturing & Utilities Sector.
Working knowledge of industrial sector of: Process Plants Renewable Energies and Manufacturing
Must have the ability to work independently work well under deadlines and use judgment in every phase of the estimation process.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 SharePoint and MS Visio is required. Advance knowledge of Lists and Planner Excel Macros / scripting Power Automate is preferred.

Whilst he should have a technical background he should be very much sales oriented.
Positive attitude willing to learn and flexible.
Good analytical skills with strong logical thinking and tactful in approach.
Selfstarter who is competent to work independently but with minimum supervision.

Excellent Interpersonal skill required.
Very Good communication in English.
Flexible to travel 2030 Spain & Portugal and Europe.
