Enterprise Security Strategist Transformation Strategy Solutions TSS

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Strategist to join our Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team. In this role you will work across our most complex and strategic customers. Directly working with customer executive teams the Enterprise Security Strategist is critical in addressing critical security needs that enable and accelerate our customers most important strategic and business goals. You will work across customer executive teams crafting security solutions that enable and accelerate our customers most important strategic and business goals. The ideal candidate is an innovative cyber and security professional with exceptional stakeholder management skills who can challenge dive into details and demonstrate how AWS can support complex security resilience and compliance strategies for Csuite and boardlevel audiences.

The candidate should have experience leading global technology strategies with enterprise companies defining technology initiatives and bringing together multiple solutions to create a holistic vision. They should be a proven expert and thoughtleader in complex businessIT transformations including platform modernization digital transformation cloud deployment security and enterprise architecture.
Specific qualifications include experience in IT security practices within regulated industries or securityaware environments the ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive security strategy aligned with risk tolerance and business goals. The candidate will have demonstrated experience across AWS security services and prescriptive guidance. Expertise is required in areas such as defense in depth security first and zero trust architectures incident response threat intelligence modeling and response compliance audits and risk assessments. A sales background to drive pursuit engagements and strong communication skills to interact with Csuite leadership technology leaders and architects are also required.

This key position will have high visibility at the most senior levels of customer organizations including frequent interaction with CISOs CIOs CTOs and AWS senior leadership. You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers and business decisionmakers influencing their roadmaps and fostering innovation to help customers reimagine and transform their businesses using modern digital technologies.

Key job responsibilities
Work with senior customer leaders (CIO CTO CISO) to build a common vision and architecture based on the transformation strategy
Engage in pursuits that span across multiple Amazon businesses
Define endtoend holistic outcomebased solutions in collaboration with sales strategy and business development teams
Ensure multiple solutions work together align to security best practices enterprise architecture standards leverage common solutions and services and meet financial targets (cost and benefits)Serve as the AWS executive technical sponsor for the strategic transformation initiative
Engage with system integrators multiple ISVs and other partners providing oversight
Create boardready presentations articulating the transformation strategy solution vision and value case
Present the strategy and vision to the Csuite including CEOs COOs CFOs CIOs CTOs and CISOsPartner closely with Sales Leadership teams and Field Sales organization
Partner with crossfunctional teams across Amazon and partners legal product engineering architecture security structuring and professional services to help execute a winning pursuit

10 years of building and implementing enterprise security architectures Cloud Threat and Adversary Operations Cyber Defense and Security Engineering Security/Incident Response Data Loss Prevention Cyber Intelligence Compliance and/or consulting experience advising such operations

5 years in a technical leadership role e.g. CTO CISO Head of Technology VP of Cyber Defense Security Engineering Senior Director General Manager Principal Solutions Architect Lead Architect/Engineer etc.

Expertise in defining and implementing comprehensive security strategies that align with organizational risk tolerance and business goals with proven experience as a senior technology security leader providing strategic guidance to the Csuite and board.


Deep understanding of emerging security technologies frameworks and best practices including areas such as zero trust architectures incident response data loss prevention cyber intelligence critical infrastructure protection and compliance management


Ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders with a track record of successfully leading security transformation initiatives and driving crossfunctional collaboration


Broad based security technology and architecture experience including applications development DevOps IoT relational databases NoSQL databases analytics networking security storage compute continuous deployment containers and observability and monitoring.


Visible IT Industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to enterprise IT infrastructure Application Development and Cyber Security.


Experience in driving and successfully closing large complex deals in a highly matrixed organization. This may include international technical sales and delivery experience w/ global F500 enterprise customers and partners.


Use of AWS services and prescriptive guidance in distributed environments with Enterprise Software.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
