Otolaryngologist - Locum

TADH is seeking Otolaryngologist locums to fill various schedule gaps.

The Timmins and District Hospital is a 225bed district hospital serving a local population of 41000 and a catchment area of 110000. Timmins is located in Northeastern Ontario andis a fully accredited referral and teaching hospital that offers a full range of Medical Surgical Critical Care Maternal/Child Long Term Care and Mental Health Services.

Remuneration is $2040 on weekdays and $2225 on weekends based on a combined stipend as per HFO Guidelines for the Northern Specialist Locum Program.

Your traveling expenses of airfare and/or mileage local car rental and accommodations as well as a travel honorarium will be covered.

Position Requirements

Candidates must:

• have Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Otolaryngology.
• be licensed to practice as an Otolaryngologist in the Province of Ontario.
• have Canadian Medical Protective Associate (CMPA) coverage.
• have an independent practice license with the CPSO.
• have an active OHIP billing number.
• possess excellent clinical and surgical skills.
• have a commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
