Job Description

Job Description
We are looking for fun and energetic Toddler and PreschoolLeadTeachersfor the Goddard School in Bethesda MD.
Daily Responsibilities
Duties of Lead Teachers include:
Meetingthe individualneeds of the children
Communication with parents
Participationin staff and training meetings
Interacting with the children to support play exploration and learning
Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the childs age and developmental level
Planning and implementing activities that develop selfesteem and social skills
Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
Building teamwork
Committing to continuing education

Job Requirements
Teacher Qualifications:
- Minimum of MSDEOCS Teacher requirements 90 hour training) or BachelorsDegree in Education
- Prior classroom experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
