Description

Barker Associatesis an award winning multidisciplinary property consultancy and trusted advisor offering Architecture and Design Project Management Surveying Engineering and Energy and Sustainability services to a wide variety of clients in the UK.

We are looking for a proactive individual interested in a Part Time Secretaryrole based at our Birmingham office. The individual would support our Surveying and MEP teams who work on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK.

This role is 2 3 days a week in the office with flexible hours totalling up to 18 hours per week. This position is a great opportunity for someone with previous secretarial experience who has good communication skills a professional manner and is able to engage with a range of individuals. This role would be ideal for anyone looking for parttime work or work during school hours.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Diary management meet and greets and ensuring smooth running of the office.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong commitment to client service and internal support.
  • Assisting Surveying and MEP team with invoices reports and surveys.
  • Provide support and collaboratively work with the Executive Assistant.
  • Liaising with building management company and managing office services to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.
  • Handling incoming enquiries providing prompt and informative responses.
  • Organising small internal events and servicing all internal meetings.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records.


Requirements
  • Previous relevant secretarial experience with an understanding of how an office works
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365
  • Experience in PIM (desirable)

Working Pattern:2 3 days per week approximately up to 18 hours per week.
