Job Description

Our client in Claremont Cape Town is seeking a professional and dedicated Customer Care Liaison to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans strong time management abilities and a keen attention to detail. A background in indoor plant care and maintenance is advantageous as is previous sales experience. The role requires someone who is handson proactive and computer literate in Microsoft Word and Outlook. A valid Code 8 Drivers License and a reliable vehicle are essential for travel to various client locations across Cape Town including the CBD Blouberg and Century City. Indepth knowledge of the greater Cape Town area and strong interpersonal skills are also required.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent
SECTOR : Warehouse Admin / Stock Control
BASIC SALARY : R20 000.00 Commission Fuel and Cellphone Allowance
START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Professional and courteous demeanor with excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
  • Strong time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and completing tasks with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of indoor plant care and maintenance would be advantageous
  • Ability to work in a handson proactive environment
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Valid Code 8 Drivers License and reliable vehicle for travel to various client locations across Cape Town (including CBD Blouberg Century City)
  • Indepth knowledge of the greater Cape Town area
  • Previous sales experience and the ability to engage with clients effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good manners in all client interactions

DUTIES:
  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers
  • Visiting customers daily
  • Recording product descriptions on the client operating system and comparing them with relevant customer agreements
  • Assisting the accounts department with monthly debt collections
  • Promptly attending to customer care queries and taking necessary action
  • Assisting operations staff when required
  • Submitting completed weekly call reports
  • Submitting a monthly updated client list
  • Assisting the Consultant with administrative tasks (warehouse orders) and site visits
HOURS:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:00
