Schedule: Monday/Friday 8:00 AM/5:00 PM Occasional Saturday coverage

About the Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is actively seeking an experienced and autonomous Nurse Practitioner to join an established urgent care practice in Alamogordo New Mexico. What Youll Do

  • Provide frontline evaluation diagnosis and treatment for walk-in patients presenting with acute conditions minor injuries and common illnesses

  • Work independently to assess and treat patients of all ages within your scope of practice

  • Collaborate with supervising physicians when escalation is necessary

  • Perform procedures including suturing splinting abscess drainage wound care and other minor interventions

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs imaging etc.)

  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans medication use and prevention strategies

  • Document visits thoroughly and accurately in the clinics EMR

  • Act as a clinical resource and help shape a patient-first culture in the clinic

Who You Are

Required:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in New Mexico

  • At least 1 year of urgent care walk-in clinic or high-volume outpatient experience

  • Confident in handling a variety of acute presentations and procedures

  • Adaptable team-focused and driven by clinical excellence

Preferred:

  • Full professional fluency in Spanish (written and spoken)

  • Previous experience with underserved or rural populations

  • Interest in community education and preventative health

Other Details

  • Clinic hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • May require coverage one Saturday per month

  • For out-of-state applicants family or key decision-makers must attend the interview with the candidate (relocation discussions are taken seriously)

  • No night shifts on-call or hospital rounds required
