Job Description
WPBF the ABC affiliate in Palm Beach Gardens FL is offering a Paid Internship in the Creative Services Department.
Summer 2025 Session:
Application Window: March 15 2025 April 30 2025
Session: June 2 2025 August 8 2025

Interns will spend 1012 weeks shadowing and gaining onthejob experience. You will be working in a fastpaced detailoriented environment. You will report to the Creative Services Director. Inperson attendance is required.
WPBFs Creative Services Department is responsible for the branding and promotional development of the station. The intern will gain a general understanding of how a television Creative Services department runs.They will learn the fundamentals of writing and producing effective topical promotion for WPBF.
Interns will learn to:
- Understand the fundamentals of writing and producing effective news and weather promotion.
- Explore broadcast and digital marketing and learn the responsibilities of the Creative Services Department.
- Gain production experience on promotional and commercial shoots both inhouse and on location.
- Observe newscasts and editing sessions.
- Write copy for WPBF news promos.
- Gain an understanding of WPBFs commitment to the community through PSA production.
- Apply writing and communication skills in a professional environment.
