LinkedIn What Youll Do in This Role:
- Design implement and manage secure scalable cloud architectures (public private hybrid) to meet business needs and improve overall system performance.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives refactoring legacy systems into cloudnative solutions using best practices ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or ARM Templates driving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline) for seamless application delivery.
- Implement cloud security controls (IAM encryption VPCs) and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR HIPAA) collaborating closely with security teams.
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring rightsizing and leveraging reserved instances/spot instances driving significant cost savings and improving operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and improve system reliability using monitoring tools (CloudWatch Datadog Prometheus) minimizing downtime.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align cloud strategies with business goals fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Heres What Youll Bring with You:
- Bachelors/masters degree in computer science IT or a related field.
- 67 years of handson experience in cloud engineering with deep expertise in AWS Azure or GCP.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Pro Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible) and scripting languages (Python Bash PowerShell).
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPCs subnets routing load balancing).
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and serverless computing (Lambda Azure Functions).
- Proven track record of implementing robust security controls and adhering to compliance standards.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins GitOps ArgoCD) and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (ELK Stack Splunk Grafana) and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ability to design multicloud architectures and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of leading cloud projects from concept to production.
- Experience with AI/MLOps or big data platforms (Spark Hadoop) is a plus.
