The Global Data and Technology team is looking for a candidate for the position of Global Intelligence Team Leader. You will be situated within the Product team the Data Engineering team and working closely with the Strategic Insights & Client Experience team. You will deliver products across multiple regions and clients and support local markets across global initiatives for optimal cross pollination and maximising the integrated connections between practice and product.
Mission & Responsibilities
- Collect and formalize customer requirements around data reports visualization
- Work with end users and translate their business aspirations into very tangible data product and reporting solutions.
- Comfortable and effective at eliciting requirements and shaping specifications for the design and build of dashboards including feasibility assessments and build time estimates.
- Working closely with an architect engineering counterparts UX team and operations team.
- Engaging in detailed conversations about technology with engineers and understand data flows metadata and product descriptions.
- Participate in testing the robustness and quality of developments in conjunction with our governance framework
- Work on a daily basis with Panel and Digital data providers and establish long term relationships while challenging on methodology and solutions
- Provide the markets with expertise in the use of data and champion local teams for the adoption of Global Solutions
- Partner with the leadership team to understand business questions that can be answered by product development.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Master in Engineering with Marketing & Media expertise
- Knowledge in Statistical tools
- Mastering highlevel technical languages (SQL Python R)
- Expertise in Panels and / or 1st party or 3rd party data management
- Appetite for market research methodology and tools (i.e. Comscore Nielsen Kantar GFK YouGov GWI)
- Very strong analytical skills with a particular emphasis on understanding and transforming large volumes of complex data into valuable business information.
- Continuously learning and staying abreast of the latest developments in BI and data visualisation tooling and passionate about applying and sharing these with others
- Proactive and ability to initiate with a positive and cando attitude
- Proficiency in English
