As the Tech Support (A&P Mechanic) you will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to servicing operating maintaining repairing and removing equipment. You may conduct technical analysis of product implementations modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications. Also you will manage technical products services logistics and provisioning quantity surveying and configurations to assigned customers. The Tech Support (A&P Mechanic) may also troubleshoot technical problems and issues recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications. You will proudly serve as local onsite RTX representative to the customers organization managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Airframe & Powerplant License
Associates degree (or other 2 year post High School Training) with a minimum of 8 years experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment troubleshooting repairs and Return to Service of engines modules and components.
Prior PW300 PW500 and JT15D shop experience
US Citizenship is required due to government contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
Shop/Bench refurbishment experience.
P&WC powered Airframe experience
Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management preferred.
Proven verbal and written communication skills.
Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience rigging R&I MRPs aircraft interface
Customer service skills.
There is up to 25 travel for this role.
This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 56000 USD 112000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
