We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Global Supply Chain Contracts NonProduct & Digital Technology!
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our East Hartford Connecticut campus location.
What You Will Do:
The Manager Contracts NonProduct Supply Chain & Digital Technology provides contracts support for all aspects of Pratt & Whitneys nonproduct and digital technologies strategic sourcing including the review negotiation drafting and interpretation of short and longterm agreements for goods and services and licenses maintenance and support for digital technologies.
The successful candidate will assist and drive continuous improvement initiatives using the RTX Core Operating System to enhance processes improve outcomes and advance crossfunction and crossbusiness unit collaboration and alignment.
Reporting to the Director Global Supply Chain Contracts in Pratt & Whitneys legal organization this position will be focused on the nonproduct and digital technologies commodities and will work closely with business and legal colleagues across P&W and RTX.
This position has responsibility for reviewing potential nonproduct and digital technology acquisition license maintenance and support contracts coordinating and synthesizing inputs from various internal stakeholders negotiating with vendors and maturing and continuously improving sourcing processes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Primary contracts support for nonproduct procurement at P&W.
Contracts support for digital technologies procurement at P&W.
Review draft and negotiate contracts including nonproduct procurement IT services term and perpetual software licenses and software as a service.
Work closely with Legal Procurement Operations Digital Technologies Cyber Strategic Sourcing Privacy Corporate and other subject matter experts in all stages of transaction activity.
Mature and continuously improve processes related to the review negotiation escalation and management of relevant contracts.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Juris Doctor Degree (J.D. and 8 years of applicable work experience including 3 years of legal and contracts experience.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Substantial experience reviewing drafting and negotiating procurement and software license maintenance and support agreements.
Ability to independently identify the legal IP global trade and business risk of a proposed transaction and working collaboratively with peers obtain appropriate terms to mitigate P&W risk and ensure supplier accountability.
Ability to think and work proactively and strategically in resolving legal issues while being mindful of business outcomes.
Sound judgment clear and concise drafting and attention to details.
Ability to interact effectively with multiples levels of the organization and build and maintain strong relationships with leadership peers internal clients and external customers.
Superior communication skills both oral and written.
Team player who can effectively engage with other members of the contracts team legal department and other functional groups.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
