The Mayo Clinic Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a physiatrist to join our established Amputee Rehabilitation practice. This role will also provide opportunities to practice in other areas of the department if desired.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a high performing multidisciplinary department focused on clinical practice education and research. We have an outstanding PM&R physician residency program medical school Doctor of Physical Therapy program three occupational therapy fellowships and three physical therapy residencies that provide a unique opportunity to train the next generation of rehabilitation care providers. Additionally the Mayo Clinic Rehabilitation Research Center provides opportunities and support to develop and continue research endeavors.
We are seeking innovative patientcentered candidates for this academic position with broad opportunities in clinical practice education and research.Our practice includes highly collegial relationships with other departments and true multispecialty care putting the needs of the patient first. Candidate must be boardcertified or boardeligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota.
