Job Description

Doctors Health Fund is a leading provider of private health insurance to Doctors throughout Australia. As a part of the Avant Mutual Group we look after the needs of over 70000 health care practitioners students and their families.

About the role

This is an entry level role offering you the unique opportunity to kick start your career in Marketing!

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow within a marketing environment.

No prior industry experience is required for this role support and training will be provided. Ideally you will be in your final years of university with a strong academic foundation and an interest in marketing campaigns strategic partnerships and event coordination.

Full Australian work rights are required as this is a permanent part time 2 days per week) position based in Sydney.

Working with the Partnerships and Events Manager this opportunity will see you:

  • Assist the Marketing team with the administration and of marketing campaigns promotions events and related tasks.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships assist in managing campaign budgets and ensure accurate invoicing and management of financial records.
  • Collaborate with product teams for data preparation dispatch of promotional gifts and support event management and strategic partnership initiatives.

To be successful you will have:

  • Currently completing or completed a tertiary qualification in Marketing or related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interest in developing stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong time management skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
