How will I help
As a Senior Manager for Data Analytics in our Business Lending Product team you will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into simple and delivering solutions back to the Product team and contribute to the development and deployment of significant improvements through the application of Analytics practices. This is achieved through structuring data to develop insights enabling the business to resolve problems and drive strategic direction. This role is also responsible for maintaining data integrity within Business Lending security collateral registers.
Other key day to day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and articulating complex data visualisations through intuitive graphics to a nontechnical audience and owning a backlog for building data capability to ensure it reflects the divisions strategic and financial goals
- Gathering data using various data mining tools and techniques followed by translating them into data that is structured reusable and provides insight capability to the wider team and business
- Designing performing and overseeing key analytic tasks testing results for sound recommendations
- Building owning and continuously improving data logic structure and visualisations to drive the shaping and delivery of performance metrics for Product
- Supporting the development of junior team members in a high performing and caring work environment
- Identifying new potential opportunities for advanced analytics within Product raising these ideas to senior management

What do I need
- Strategic thinking skills defined as the ability to creatively approach structure and guide team members in addressing complex issues
- Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Mathematics Finance Statistics Data Science or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis automation and statistical modelling.
- Strong SQL skills with experience using Teradata SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
- Proficient in Teradata ETL systems (BTEQ MLOAD FLOAD FEXP)
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure
- Proven track record in building and implementing data solutions that drive business insights and decisionmaking.
- Experience working with largescale datasets and optimizing data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to apply Statistical analysis to solve business problems and generate insights.
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Experience developing reports dashboards and visualizations
- Experience working with financial models risk assessment and regulatory reporting.
- Strong understanding of finance capital allocation and RWA (RiskWeighted Assets) principles is advantageous
- Awareness of Lean Six Sigma principles for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to tackle complex financial and data challenges.
