You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder the supervision of the Pathology supervisor the histotechnologist performs technical functions in the Histology laboratory to provide high quality microscopic slides of tissue for the detection of disease.
Education
Four years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g. Bachelor Degree in the field of Laboratory Science of equivalent).
Certification Registration and Licensure
Certification required to obtain: Histotechnologist (American Society Clinical Pathologist) within one year of employment.
Experience
One year experience in a Histology lab and/or completion of a CAHEA (Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation) accredited Histology program.
