The Capacity Planning Team provides AMZL with safe costoptimal and flexible capacity solutions for onroad operations yearround and enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that impact daily business has a strong delivery record and has experience in driving in a crossfunctional environment backed by well defined analysis and research. As a Planning Manager in the Capacity Planning Team you will be working on the weekly cadence for the generation of labor plans for AMZL delivery stations to make sure the organization is well prepared for the future. You will analyze gaps to improve future plans. You will work crossfunctionally and build key relationships to ensure that decisions are made and action. Which enables the AMZL operations to run as effectively as possible. You will challenge the unknown and strive for continuous improvement in key areas of our business.
A successful candidate enjoys problem solving is comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources and is enthusiastic about partnering with other teams across the business to deliver results. You should have an internal drive to challenge the status quo excellent analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be a selfstarter comfortable with ambiguity naturally curious and be involved in the details.

Bachelors degree in engineering statistics computer science business analytics information systems or related field
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience working with data warehouse
Experience in complex problem solving root cause analysis in a business environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work experience in operations/supply chain/logistics
Knowledge of SQL Power Query Power Pivot
Exposure to labour planning
Experience with supply chain management and transportation concepts
