Northern Rivers Community Gateway have been delivering the Rainbow Region Kids program for many years. This wellestablished accredited childcentred program includes before school care after school care and vacation care services at several locations across the region.
Our professional team create a fun inclusive safe and enriching environment to primary school aged children attending our services.
Rainbow Region Kids is seeking an experienced Administration Assistantto work 30 hours per week primarily based at our Lismore office.
Your role
- Provide administration support to the Rainbow Region Kids team.
- Data entry in the OWNA system including enrolments bookings and weekly attendance submissions.
- Encourage referrals build networks and engage with parents carers and schools who use the services via digital platforms.
- Coordinate receipts of fees and reconcile funds.
- Provide analytical data and reports from OWNA as required.
- Work productively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Network build and maintain relationships with schools families and other key stakeholders.
- Undertake other additional duties as requested by Manager and CEO.

Knowledge skills and experience required
- Relevant qualifications in Business Administration and/or relevant working experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to interact with parents and users of the Rainbow Region Kids services.
- Ability to gain knowledge and apply administrative practices policies and procedures relevant to childrens services.
- Ability to work as part of a team under general supervision.
- Ability and willingness to gain knowledge of statutory and funding requirements for childrens services.
- Competent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office 365 and other digital platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience using the OWNA database.
Additional requirements
- A current Drivers license.
- Current NSW working with childrens check prior to commencement.
- Undertake national police check.
