Receive verify and payout high volumes of coin andcurrency and destroy unfit currency in a highly regulated physically demanding valuables handling area. Complies with Treasury
regulations and internal governance/audit requirements to ensure a wellcontrolled cash operation. Possesses effective time management skills with the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Exhibits thorough knowledge of operational procedures controls and complex technical systems. Demonstrates proficiencyin operating high speed currency equipment and/or in completing duties related to paying and receiving currency/ established production standards and timelines. Comply with all applicable procedures and controls. Resolves basicequipment and processing issues
Applies knowledge to perform same day difference reconciliation and deposit quality monitoring and providesrecommendations for operational enhancements to help mitigate risk or increase efficiency.
May train delegate and review the work of less senior employees.
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of automated accounting and transfer records.
Operates processing equipment and troubleshoots issues to accurately support achievement of production goals servicelevels and contractual obligations.
Complete customer transactions and inventory management through balancing reconciling and settlement of currency andcoin holdings on a daily basis.
Balances deposits and processes financial accounting transactions/entries to depository institutions using accountingoperating systems and Cash Services unique inventory and processing applications.
Navigates complex inventory tracking within relevant accounting systems to record batch statistics/inventory transfersamong internal valuables handling teams and external customers and differences and other pertinent data elements.
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions through research and reconcilement of data.
Demonstrates ability to comply with specific documentation requirements
Transfers and stores significant values and quantities of currency and coin and maintains custody and accountabilitythroughout completion of these processes.
Demonstrates ability to operate in a team environment with high results orientation.
Communicates information that requires explanation or interpretation.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 5 years of relevant cash handling experience.
Knowledge Areas:
Strong attention to detail.
Math Balancing and
