What You Will Do:
Support a Security & Infrastructure office at a large IC Agency with database engineering analysis and maintenance. Works with and leads a team that helps to optimize processes data infrastructure and related processes for database usage and operation. Additional duties include:
Provide technical experience for database design development implementation information storage and retrieval data flow and analysis
Develop relational and/or objectoriented databases database parser software and database loading software
Project longrange requirements for database administration and design. Responsible for developing a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes number of users logical and physical distribution response times retention rules security and domain controls
Work on the frontend of the lifecyclerequirements through system acceptance testing and Initial Operating Capability
Develops requirements from a projects inception to its conclusion for a particular business an IT subject matter area
Assist with recommendations for and analysis and evaluation of system improvements optimization development and maintenance
Translate requirements and data into a usable document by creating/recreating ad hoc queries scripts and macros; updates existing queries creates new ones to manipulate data into a master file; build complex systems using queries tables open database connectivity and database storage/retrieval using Cloud methodologies
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET with SCI (TS/SCI) Federal or DoD securityclearance
Bachelors degree
FIFTEEN 15 years of work experience with FOUR 4 years of experience in Data Engineering
Experience with relational database programming in SQL
Substantial experience with scientific computing packages in Python R DAD or MATLAB
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal with DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph
Supervisory and/or project management experience
Experience preparing comprehensive presentations and reports for varying levels of management
