The spa department is responsible for creating an ambience of relaxation healing and renewal. Our sanctuary is located on our serene mezzanine level of the resort overseeing the ocean. We have 14 treatment rooms a relaxing spa lounge sauna steam room fitness center whirlpool and a swimming pool for the ultimate spa experience. As an aesthetician youre responsible for delivering a luxurious highend facial product knowledge and develop a deep understanding of the facial products youre selling including ingredients benefits and usage instructions.

Job Summary:

The Esthetician administers exceptional facial and skincare services while creating an environment of comfort and relaxation for guests.

Pay Rate:

This is a commissionbased position. If your commission earnings fall below New Jerseys required minimum wage your gross pay will be adjusted to meet the states minimum wage of $15.49 per hour

Essential Job Functions:

Performs professional skin care treatments and services

Conducts customized facials adapting treatments according to guest needs.

Recommends skin care maintenance plans while promoting retail product lines.

Educates clients on how to obtain and maintain healthy skin.

Creates exceptional experiences for clients through a friendly and helpful attitude.

Maintains the professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.

Ensures appointments are on time communicating delays as necessary.

Accurately promotes Spa services and retail in a courteous and informative manner.

Responsible for presetting and resetting each treatment room.

Maintains up to date knowledge of all trends and developments within the professional spa

community related to products treatment and techniques.

Maintains knowledge of Spa hotel and community events to accurately and clearly

Communicate information to guests and employees.

Performs related duties as requested by management.

Education Experience and Skill Requirements:

Current NJ Esthetician license required and Liability Insurance

License must be obtained from the town of Long Branch.

Previous experience as an Esthetician strongly preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced training with career interest in a related

Industry is preferred.

Superior customer service and interpersonal skills required; we must enjoy working with people.

Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and guests orally and in writing.

Must be able to always maintain a professional appearance.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays as necessary.

Flexibility to be cross trained in other spa functions/services preferred.

Physical Qualifications:

Requires the ability to bend twist and stand to perform normal job functions.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
