Job Description
We are a fastgrowing boutique law firm located in Encino CA seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney with substantial trial experience to take on a challenging and rewarding caseload within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Litigation experience
- Proven Personal Injury trial experience as First or Second Chair
- Ability to manage 100 cases with support from associates and paralegals
- Strong familiarity with legal research for law and motion purposes
- Experience representing clients in premises liability motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury matters
- Deposition experience including taking and defending depositions of plaintiffs experts and witnesses
- Proficient in drafting motions including Motions for Summary Judgment Demurrers and Discoveryrelated motions
- Strong experience in trial preparation including drafting Motions in Limine Special Verdict Forms Jury Instructions and related materials
- Ability to propound and respond to discovery requests
- Experience drafting complaints for various personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents and complex premises liability and cases
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of 100 personal injury cases working with associates and paralegals for case management support
- Represent clients in personal injury matters focusing on motor vehicle accidents premises liability and other related cases
- Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs experts witnesses and other key parties
- Research and draft motions for summary judgment demurrers and discoveryrelated motions
- Prepare for trial including drafting jury instructions special verdict forms and motions in limine
- Propound and respond to discovery requests ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure quality representation and case management
- Maintain strong communication with clients and provide regular updates on case progress
