Our client a reputable and busy hospital dedicated to providing quality healthcare services is seeking to hire a Human Resource Officer to join their team. This role is key in ensuring operational efficiency and effective HR service delivery across departments in the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with hospital goals and compliance requirements.
Oversee daytoday HR operations including recruitment onboarding employee relations and performance management.
Maintain accurate employee records including contracts leave attendance and disciplinary actions.
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and assist in workforce planning.
Support the of training and development programs to build staff capacity.
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in line with hospital procedures and labor laws.
Monitor HR metrics such as staff turnover absenteeism and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as NHIF NSSF PAYE and other labor regulations.
Coordinate employee wellness and engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
Prepare HR reports and provide regular updates to management on key HR indicators.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration or a related field.
A minimum of 3 5 years of HR experience in a busy hospital or healthcare environment.
Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office Suite.
