Job Description
- Planting and maintaining plants flowers and trees in greenhouses
- Temperature and humidity levels are being monitored to ensure that plants are receiving the best possible care.
- Watering plants and performing other basic maintenance tasks such as pruning or weeding
- Data collection on plant growth for scientific research purposes
- Plant care and propagation in nurseries and greenhouses for commercial use
- Providing customers with plant care information and answering questions about specific plants or plant types
- Using machinery to move materials such as tractors forklifts and loaders
- Planting seeds and seedlings for sale in nurseries or retail stores in trays and pots
- Planting seeds or cuttings and transplanting them into larger containers
Requirements
- GED certificate or high school diploma
- capable of communicating with coworkers and supervisors
- Attention to detail is an essential skill for greenhouse workers because it ensures the quality of your work.
- Physical endurance
- Teamwork abilities

Salary: $15.50 $26.00 per hour
