Job Description
Director of Environmental Services
Koontz Bryant Johnson Williams is seeking a Director of Environmental Services. As Director you will oversee all Environmental operations in our Virginia offices. Your team of scientists geologists engineers and technicians will complete all necessary assessments surveys designs engineering and investigations for a wide range of project types term contracts and clients. You will maintain solid relationships with a large and diverse client base. Specific projects typically include environmental assessments due diligence wetland studies stormwater engineering and permitting remediation compliance audits property condition assessments hydrogeology geology and other relevant subsurface investigations.
As Director you will:
- Mentor train (or oversee training of) and evaluate team members
- Provide QA/QC and senior review on reports and proposals.
- Coordination with Directors of our other service lines.
- Prepare proposals budgets and schedules.
- Oversee all environmental business development activities.
- Provide regular status reports to Clients and Corporate Management.
- Work with COO & CSO developing YoY business plans.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree: PE or PG license preferred but CIH CSP or CHMM considered.
- Minimum of 10 years consulting experience as an environmental professional with P&L experience.
- Experience with Business Development and Client Maintenance.
- Experience supervising engineers geologist and /or designers.
- Advanced technical writing skills.
