Since 2021 Ironbark Services NT has been a key player in the Northern Territory landscape. As a 100 Indigenousowned and managed organisation based in Berrimah we are dedicated to providing tailored employment and developmental opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.

Operating under the Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation Group Ironbark Services NT (ISNT) encompasses several divisions: Ironbark Accounts Support Services Ironbark Labour Hire RapidClean NT and Darwin Precast Products. We offer a comprehensive range of services including business administration support project management labour skills tradespecific expertise and cleaning supplies. Serving diverse industries across northern Australia ISNT delivers endtoend management and expertise through its various business units.

About the Role

Ironbark Services NT is seeking a Commercial Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role you will support the business unit managers and the ISNT General Manager by overseeing office administration database management and leading the Commercial Administration Team. Key duties include organising meetings and training managing boardroom logistics coordinating project activities and driving improvements in operational efficiency.

You will play a crucial role in embodying Ironbarks values through outstanding customer service and effective stakeholder communication. Your role will also involve supporting employee onboarding ensuring compliance with company policies and contributing to our cultural and organisational goals. A strong focus on risk management and adherence to safety protocols is essential for maintaining a compliant and secure workplace.

What you will do

As the Commercial Operations Coordinator at Ironbark Services NT you will manage a range of administrative functions critical to the smooth operation of our business units. You will oversee the coordination and of team meetings and training sessions ensure seamless boardroom operations and manage external bookings. Your role involves facilitating effective stakeholder communication handling inquiries and maintaining robust relationships with clients and partners.

You will drive improvements in operational processes support project management tasks and assist in resource allocation and task prioritisation. Your responsibilities extend to maintaining accurate records and documentation preparing detailed reports and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and governance standards. Additionally you will play a key role in inducting new employees coordinating their training and integrating them into the team.

A key aspect of your role will be to contribute to workplace culture and diversity initiatives support safety and risk management protocols and engage in activities that promote a positive work environment. Your proactive approach will help streamline operations and enhance overall team performance ensuring a dynamic and efficient work setting.

We are looking for a suitable applicant who has:

  • A Diploma in Business or a relevant equivalent qualification.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with effective stakeholder engagement.
  • A robust work ethic and eagerness to learn and adapt.
  • Proven experience in handling confidential information discreetly.
  • Superior organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated creative problemsolving abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in a range of software applications.
