Were looking for leaders who are:
Passionate about scaling engineering teams processes and technology in highgrowth environments
Experienced in technical strategy and organizational leadership

Build and scale highperforming engineering teams hiring and developing top technical talent
Define and drive technical strategy and longterm roadmap alignment with business objectives
Oversee architecture infrastructure and best practices for scalable reliable systems
Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement
Own engineering operations ensuring highvelocity product development and delivery
Establish engineering processes CI/CD workflows and DevOps best practices
Collaborate with founders product and business teams to shape companywide strategic direction
Drive crossfunctional collaboration across engineering product and design teams
Lead initiatives for performance optimization security and cost efficiency
While each startup has its own hiring criteria many Head of Engineering (Director/VPlevel) roles in our network look for:
10 years of experience in software engineering with at least 4 years in leadership roles
Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams in highgrowth startup environments
Expertise in backend fullstack or infrastructure development with modern cloud technologies
Strong knowledge of scalable architectures distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure)
Track record of hiring retaining and developing top engineering talent
Ability to balance handson technical leadership with highlevel strategic decisionmaking
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies engineering and product development lifecycles
Experience in venturebacked startups or fastscaling technology companies
