Thisis a MANAGEMENT SERVICES position and serves at the pleasure of the AppointingAuthority.
EDUCATION:Possession of aBachelors degree from an accredited college or university that includes 30credits in engineering biological environmental physical sciences or otherappropriate technical education or possession of a Bachelors degree from anaccredited college or university in Environmental Law or Environmental PublicPolicy or other appropriate related degree.
EXPERIENCE:Six 6 years ofexperience supervising a professional staff in an environmental field orexperience as an environmental project manager including assigning taskssetting priorities and reviewing work products.
NOTES:
1.Professional or scientific experience related to natural resources environmentor public health may be substituted on a yearforyear basis foreducation.
2.Registration as a Professional Engineer may be substituted for the requirededucation.
3.One additional year of experience in professional scientific naturalresources or environmental or public health may be substituted for the 30specialized academic credits.

PERSONAL LEAVE New State employees are awarded six 6 personal leavedays annually (prorated based on start date).
ANNUAL LEAVE ten 10 days of accumulated annual leave per year.
SICK LEAVE fifteen 15 days of accumulated sick leave per year.
PARENTAL LEAVE up to sixty 60 days of paid parental leave upon thebirth or adoption of a child.
HOLIDAYS State employees also celebrate at least twelve 12 holidaysper year.
