Job Title: Dental Assistant Temporary Schedule Tuesday Thursday: 6:30 AM 4:00 PM Friday: 6:30 AM 1:00 PM

Job Responsibilities Include:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental radiographs (xrays)
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Provide patients with followup instructions following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Requirements:
Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
Xray certification where state regulations specify
At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant Preferred; Candidates must have at least one year of experience working in general dentistry and be expected to perform routine hygiene duties including the following: scaling and root planning FMDs probing Arestin application and taking digital xrays.
Online charting is a plus but not .
