Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Engagement Manager to join our Audit Professional Services team. This role will play a critical role in leading and managing client engagements with CPA firms to successfully implement our OnPoint Suite of cloudbased applications. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with the clients business objectives. This position requires exceptional leadership communication and organizational skills along with deep knowledge of public accounting audit processes and technology.

This is a Manager level position that requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in professional services software implementation or auditrelated roles with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex clientfacing projects.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  1. Client Engagement & Leadership
    1. Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.
    2. Establish strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment with business goals.
    3. Lead discovery sessions to understand client needs and design tailored implementation plans.
  2. Project Management
    1. Develop and manage project plans timelines and deliverables to ensure successful implementation based on agreed upon timelines
    2. Coordinate crossfunctional teams including consultants trainers and technical resources to meet project objectives
    3. Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  3. Change Management & Training
    1. Coordinate change management initiatives to drive adoption of the OnPoint Suite
    2. Coordinate and schedule product training for firms adopting the OnPoint Suite
  4. Technical Oversight
    1. Coordinate and facilitate data migration discovery and consulting processeswith technical services team(s) and firm resources
    2. Collaborate with technical team(s) to troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges
  5. Post Implementation Support
    1. Ensure smooth transition to postimplementation support and sustainability phases
    2. Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  6. Individual Contributor Role
    1. This position does not have direct reports but requires collaboration across teams to achieve business objectives.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in professional services software implementation or auditrelated roles.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex clientfacing projects.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting business or a related field; CPA designationwith experience in assurance services strongly preferred.
  • Certifications in project management or change management (e.g. PMP Prosci) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of audit processes and CPA firm operations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in cloudbased technologies and data migration practices.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Word processing software spreadsheet software accounting software human resource systems and contact management systems.

Education:

Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S. from fouryear college or university or 7 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge Skills and Other Abilities:

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required
  • Experience in consulting or training is preferred
  • Solid writing skills including presentation development and technical writing
  • Selfstarter with strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to travel under normal circumstances
