Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing implementing and supporting SAP ABAP solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP modules excellent problemsolving abilities and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement ABAP Solutions: Design code test and deploy custom ABAP programs reports interfaces enhancements and forms.
- Technical Specification: Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- System Integration: Integrate SAP with other systems using various SAP technologies (IDoc BAPI RFC etc..
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ABAP programs troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize ABAP code for performance improvements and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants business analysts and endusers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications coding standards and testing procedures.
- Training and Guidance: Mentor junior developers and provide training as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ABAP programming including dialog programming ALV reporting BAPIs BADIs IDocs and Smart Forms. Experience with SAP modules such as SD MM FI or HR is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications: SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in SAP S/4HANA or Fiori development is advantageous.
- Tools: Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager SAP Workflow and other SAP development tools.
Work Environment
- Location: Gurgaon (Remote work with occasional office visits as required).
- Type: Fulltime Permanent.
