Job Description

How will your role help us transform hope into reality

This team member will support efforts in the analysis and design and communication of our compensation programs ensuring they are competitive sustainable scalable and have a positive impact on the overall performance of Blueprint. This team member will also bring their unique perspective coupled with intelligence innate ability to connect information and collaborative team style to drive our collective success. Additionally the successful candidate has demonstrated the ability to mix the science of compensation with the art of motivating and driving engagement while partnering daytoday with employees managers team members and senior leaders to attract retain and engage the BlueCrew ensuring they feel their value.

What will you do

  • Support daytoday compensation activities including market data requests offcycle promotions/pay adjustments and adhoc data requests and pay analysis
  • Provide analytical support in the design planning development and implementation of compensation programs policies and procedures.
  • Assists the Director Compensation Mobility and People Analytics in preparing for annual and midyear compensation cycles by ensuring HRIS platform set up and management budget management and manager/employee communications
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team members on the creation of compelling new hire offer packages using market data and philosophy
  • Supports development of tools dashboards infographics and insights using Excel PowerBI Smartsheet and other tools to assist stakeholders in making compensation decisions and broader people analytics insights
  • Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive total compensation information to help evaluate and guide effective compensation administration in line with our compensation philosophy.
  • Maintains accurate files and documents including but not limited to pay and equity reviews job descriptions job codes compensation structures and other compensation related information.
  • Supports the development of Compensation Committee materials
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Keeps apprised of federal state local and international employment compensation and dataprivacy related laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance.

What minimum qualifications do we require

  • Minimum of a bachelors degree and 4 years of experience in Compensation

What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate

  • 6 years of experience in compensation analysis preferably in the biotechnology industry
  • Experience in the biotech industry
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with Payfactors and Success Factors
  • Experience with international compensation preferred
  • Current knowledge of related government rules and regulations including but not limited to ERISA FLSA and other applicable Labor and/or Tax laws and regulations; fulfills compliance and reporting requirements
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative matrix environment with the ability to manage through conflict resolution
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability detail oriented and proficiency in data management a plus
  • Roll up your sleeves cando demeanor with ability to work independently while also being an enthusiastic teammate with strong partnering orientation
  • A collaborator who communicates in an open clear complete timely and consistent manner verbally written and interpersonally
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail which informs strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
