Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Engineering and production to create update revise and modify drawings related to configurations and sheet metal design.
- Complete Bill of Materials and Routings utilizing ERP System.
- Utilize 2D/3D CAD equipment to generate computer drawings.
- Execute changes (internal and external) through the identified change order process.
- Follow the specified design procedure design review procedure and as built correction procedures.
- Examine electronic drawings to develop and verify specifications and drafting data such as configuration of parts dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate file management software for the storage and retrieval of design information.
- Offer design improvement techniques to increase productivity and quality and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- College Sophmore or higher in good standing
- 3.0 cumalitive GPA or higher
- 2D/3D CAD Experience (Solid Works Auto Cad etc.
Other Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes e.g. welding fabrication laser or plasma cutting hydraulics etc. (preferred)
- Ability to effectively perform in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent PC skills including Excel and Word
- Ability to work with flexible and changing schedules.
- Solid commitment to quality process improvement and teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fastpace quick changing environment.
