Reporting to the HRIS Applications Administrator the Time & Attendance Application Administrator will be responsible for the daily administration of the UKG Ready TLM and Accruals systems and for implementing system updates that improve the end user experience. The individual in this role will perform maintenance and testing of all Pay Calculations Timesheet Profiles Accruals Profiles and other system profiles that drive employee pay. Additionally this role is responsible for proactive issue resolution for both the software and the associated hardware. The incumbent will stay current with system releases and will have the opportunity to assist with the enterprise time & attendance implementation. Duties And Responsibilities
Database Management & Operational Effectiveness Create system profiles such as Pay Calculations Timesheet Profiles Accruals Profiles Holiday Tables and Work Schedule Cycles; maintain in agreement with University policies and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Maintain employee information such as autodeducts and schedules to ensure accurate pay. Daily review of import logs and perform corrective entries resulting from import messages. Biweekly pay periodclose activities including data quality control reporting. Leverage system reporting for regular overtime and premium labor levels exceptions audits and community requests as needed. Technical Support Serve as the initial point of contact for system configuration questions and access requests. Identify issues troubleshoot and keep the software time clocks and kiosks in good operating condition. Analyze current processes and workflows; make recommendations and plans for improvement implementations. Partner with UNIT and University business partners for their input in implementing. Stay apprised of releases service packs and new functionality in the system. Partner with HR Training Team HR Business Partners and HRIS Applications Administrator to provide end user training and serve as a subject matter expert of the UKG Ready configuration. Process and Workflow Improvement Collaborate with HRIS Applications Administrator to determine the impacts of the enterprise UKG Ready implementation on the current system configuration performing testing and updates as needed. Recommend large scale system updates configuration changes and policy changes based on community feedback and national trends in time & labor management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the combination of education and experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position required. 13 years of previous data management or time tracking experience are required. Experience working in Human Resources is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite HRIS systems time & attendance systems. Excellent organizational skills required and attention to detail are a must. Excellent interpersonal skills are desired and the ability to make wellinformed decisions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. This position requires an individual who understands confidentiality of information. Must be able to respond to requests in a timely manner and be flexible. Effective customer collaboration and relationships skills are required with the ability to work with crossfunctional teams. Demonstrated ability to create written and graphic materials for training of end users. General office and computer skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
UKG Ready (or other Kronos/ UKG products) experience. Ellucian Banner (or Colleague) experience. Knowledge of time & attendance and project management concepts.
