ADVANCE WOUND CARE CLINICAL EDUCATOR POS25073
Area : Pretoria
Salary : R55000.00pm R65000.00 pm
Required Experience
- Registered Nurse with a bachelors degree
- Preferred WHASA or recognized wound management certificate
- 2 years experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users
- Previous medical industry experiences an asset
- Domestic travel required Pretoria Limpopo & North West
- Valid drivers License.
- Own Vehicle
- Effective written and presentation skills
- Ability to read analyse and interpret clinical publications/scripts
- Proven success with organization and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to tailor training and education in order to serve many audiences
- High attention to clinical outcome and followthrough
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to support internal and external customers as well as end users.
- Must be selfdriven with the ability to work independently
Key Job Outputs
- Maintain professional credentials and education to maintain status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse.
- Support inhospital wound care in conjunction with employed hospital staff.
- Set up new wound care protocols for follow up visits for end users.
- Deliver education programs to a diverse group of internal and external customers and end users to drive better wound outcomes and improve care
- Report back to senior leadership key clinical learnings and opportunities.
- The Wound Care educator provides clinical and operational support in the delivery of patient care in a hospital setting or clinical environment
- Responsible for training physicians/clinicians/nurses on procedures protocols and product use
- Assists with front office operations including but not limited to billing invoicing scheduling tracking of procedures reporting and funder approvals.
