Location: Newcastle or Sydney (Hybrid available)
Employment Type: FullTime
Salary: $130000 $150000 Super
Our client is seeking a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate to join their growing consultancy in Newcastle or Sydney. This leadership opportunity combines handson project delivery with a strong emphasis on business development. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a strong professional network with the ability to drive growth through new clients service lines or market sectors.
Their current portfolio includes commercial (industrial retail warehouse) and residential projects with an approximate split of 30 commercial and 70 residential. Candidates with experience outside these sectors are also encouraged to applyprovided they bring the capability to win work.

What Youll Be Doing
Managing all costs related to the building aspects of multiple projects.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients stakeholders and team members.
Preparing cost plans managing budgets and ensuring financial efficiency.
Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Working independently while collaborating with a skilled team.
What Youll Need
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor ideally at a senior level.
Strong cost planning financial management and presentation skills.
Excellent communication you know how to build solid working relationships.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for the construction industry and an eye for detail.
