Job Description
Shape the future of KS5 Science education in Redbridge! TLR opportunity available.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Science Teacher with a specialism in KS5 (ability to teach at least one science to ALevel) to join our outstanding school. This role offers the potential for a TLR for a candidate with the right skills and ambition to lead our ALevel provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality Science lessons across Key Stages 35 specializing in at least one science (Biology Chemistry or Physics) at ALevel.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Develop students scientific reasoning and practical skills particularly at KS5.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment especially for advanced learners.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum with a focus on ALevel.
- Potential for a TLR for a candidate demonstrating leadership potential in KS5.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in a Science discipline (Biology Chemistry or Physics).
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level with a strong emphasis on ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum especially at KS5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership potential in KS5 delivery (for TLR consideration).
- Ability to teach at least one science (Biology Chemistry or Physics) to ALevel.
