About our Client
Thermo Power SRL is astartup incorporated in 2023 operating mostly from the UCLouvaininfrastructures in LouvainlaNeuve Belgium.
Thermo Poweroverarching goal is to contribute positively to the energy transition and thedecarbonation of the European industry.
For thatpurpose ThermoPower develops thermoelectric materials and generators thatconvert directly wasted heat into electricity thereby reducing the globalcarbon footprint of industrial processes.
To sustain itsdevelopment Thermo Power is looking for an Industrialisation Engineer willingto make an impact on the companys progress and quickly willing to takeresponsibilities.
Location: LouvainlaNeuve
Your role
- Together with the rest of the teamyou drive the development of the manufacturing line for thermoelectric modules
- You setup and validatemanufacturing processes; you design and implement their automation and qualitycontrol
- You perform manufacturing trials andother prototyping activities and assess the quality of the results
- You support the design of thecustomers thermoelectric systems in terms of electrical management
- You deal with the partners involvedin the manufacturing processes
Your profile
- You have a Masters Degree inElectromechanical engineering
- You have some knowledge ofindustrial manufacturing processes (e.g. machining welding cutting
- You have experience in automationprogramming (e.g. LabView)
- You are creative rigorous andsolutionoriented
- You want to have a direct impact onthe development of the startup and participate actively in decision making inthe technical development strategy
- You want to work in a hightechenvironment
- You are willing to combine design& analysis work with handson experimental manufacturing and testing work
- You can learn quickly and not afraidto work on your own
- You have good communication skills
- You are fluent in French andEnglish. Speaking Dutch is a plus.
