Calling all CA(SA)s! My client a large manufacturing company based in Vanderbijlpark is looking for a Senior Financial and Cost Accountant. This position comes with a succession plan to grow the incumbent into the Financial Manager role with the next year. If you have knowledge of costing within a financial department then read on. Duties & Responsibilities
- Income tax and deferred tax
- Manage operational risk and risk mitigation initiatives
- Manage the commercial process and ensure client costing and profitability is maintained and credit risk of clients is managed and understood
- Manage monitor and report on budget variances in order to maximise financial performance
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- CA(SA)
- 2 3 years post articles experience
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Microsoft applications
- Strong financial acumen
- Sense of urgency
- Can take initiative
- Strong leader
