Description

Position Summary:

Jefferies is seeking an equity research senior associate to support the Gaming Lodging & Leisure team. Coverage includes Casinos Gaming Equipment & Technology Lodging Lodging REITs Gaming REITs Assetbased Leisure Companies. The senior analyst has covered the sectors for 18 years.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting proprietary research evaluating the competitive landscape analyzing industry news and company filings attending conferences and speaking with key opinion leaders
  • Building and maintaining financial models and proprietary databases
  • Writing research reports for initiations of coverage analysis of data and industry/company news
  • Conceiving and executing on differentiated project ideas
  • Interfacing with company management teams internal sales and trading personnel and institutional investors
  • Aspiration to earning lead coverage can be considered where appropriate

Key qualifications:

  • 1 years experience in equity research investment banking or similar buyside exposure CFA levels a plus
  • Proficiency in written/verbal communication and in managing financial models utilizing excel
  • Motivated committed detailoriented team player

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135000 $165000.
