Job Description
You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Laundry Attendant you will take ownership of guest rooms ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean comfortable space and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.
- To ensure that all guest and other hotel laundry is processed quickly and efficiently in line with the laundry requirements.
- To ensure the safe storage care and use of any chemicals to protect themselves and colleagues from incorrect or dangerous usage.
- Use the laundry machines in line with their operating instructions taking account of weight restrictions and other requirements.
- Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest
- Take ownership of guests privacy and belongings while ensuring exceptional service
Qualifications :
Experience/Certificates/Education
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Proven experience in laundry / housekeeping or a related field preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
Knowledge of cleaning methods materials and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Friendly and hospitable approach prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team efficiently in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
Selfmotivated and energetic.
Maintain a clean tidy and wellgroomed appearance consistently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
Stamina to be on your feet for extended periods.
Flexibility to bend stoop and reach.
Additional Information :
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
additional languages are a plus
