Role Overview:
As a Performance Marketing Manager you will be responsible for driving inbound lead generation efforts through both organic and paid channels alongside managing targeted email marketing campaigns and executing AccountBased Marketing (ABM) strategies. You will leverage your expertise in SEO Google Ads LinkedIn Ads email marketing retargeting and ABM tactics to generate highquality leads for our B2B IT business. This role requires someone with proven experience in implementing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns for the IT sector specifically in the Australian and US markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive lead generation strategies across multiple digital channels to drive highquality inbound leads.
- SEO & Organic Marketing:
- Oversee and optimize the SEO strategy including keyword research onpage optimization content development and backlink building.
- Monitor organic performance and create content strategies to improve search rankings and generate inbound leads.
- Paid Advertising:
- Manage Google Ads (Search & Display) LinkedIn Ads and other paid media campaigns to generate leads.
- Plan and execute retargeting campaigns to nurture leads and increase conversion rates.
- Implement A/B testing on ads landing pages and creatives to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Email Marketing Campaigns:
- Design execute and optimize email marketing campaigns aimed at lead generation nurturing and customer retention.
- Develop segmented email lists create engaging email copy and use automation tools to send personalized targeted emails to prospective clients.
- Track and analyze email campaign performance (open rates clickthrough rates conversion rates) and refine strategies based on results.
- AccountBased Marketing (ABM):
- Develop and execute ABM campaigns targeted at highvalue accounts within the B2B IT space.
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to identify target accounts and build tailored marketing strategies.
- Use datadriven insights to craft personalized messaging content and offers for key accounts.
- Optimize ABM campaigns using tools like LinkedIn Ads Google Ads and email to engage decisionmakers at target accounts.
- Campaign Optimization:
- Continuously analyze track and optimize campaign performance across all channels to ensure maximum ROI.
- Use data to make informed decisions about budget allocation audience targeting ad creatives and messaging.
- Performance Tools & Platforms:
- Leverage tools like Google Analytics SEMrush HubSpot Pardot Marketo Clearbit Leadfeeder Albacross VisitorQueue Hotjar and others to track report and optimize campaign performance.
- Ensure data integrity and manage reporting processes to keep stakeholders updated with key performance insights.
- Market Understanding:
- Deep understanding of the B2B IT sector specifically for Australian and US markets and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
- Stay on top of emerging trends in performance marketing and the IT industry to ensure campaigns are relevant and forwardthinking.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the sales product and content teams to ensure alignment on lead quality lead nurturing and followup strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on lead generation campaign performance and KPIs along with actionable insights for improvement.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 57 years of handson experience in performance marketing with a proven track record in organic (SEO) and inorganic (PPC LinkedIn Ads Retargeting) lead generation.
- Significant experience with B2B IT companies ideally within the Australian and US markets.
- Expertise in driving highquality inbound leads and managing lead flow through Ads email marketing ABM and other digital channels.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Strong SEO knowledge and expertise in keyword research onpage and offpage SEO strategies.
- Proficient in managing Google Ads (Search & Display) LinkedIn Ads retargeting campaigns and paid media optimization.
- Handson experience with email marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot Mailchimp Pardot Marketo) to create and execute automated campaigns.
- Familiarity with ABM campaigns and tools to drive personalized marketing efforts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies to maximize lead conversion and ROI.
- Knowledge of Latest Trends:
- Ability to stay current with the latest performance marketing trends including SEO algorithm updates advancements in paid media strategies and best practices for ABM and email marketing.
