The internships are expected to be 12 weeks in length and onsite at the San Diego campus for the summer of 2025.

Role and responsibilities

• Specific tasks will be tailored to match the education / experience level of the intern and current needs of ASML analysis team e.g. Develop Multiphysics subroutines utilizing APDL and Python Reduced Order Modeling (ROM) Machine LearningOptimization
• Work in a team environment alongside experienced engineers to achieve intern project goals
• Document project and present the results to ASML analysis stakeholders

Education and experience

• Current active MS/PhD students in Science or Engineering

Skills

• Strong computing skills including experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python APDL)
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
• Experience using Ansys or Abaqus software
• Experience in PhysicsInformed Neural Network Machine Learning frameworks
• Have strong written and oral communicative skills
• Be a demonstrated team player with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills
• Have strong problem solving skills and the ability to take initiative

The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently $18.00 $48.00. Pay scales are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to jobrelated skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations 15 C.F.R. 730 et seq..
