Location Details:Pune

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office fulltime; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days)and some work entirely remotely.

This is a hybrid position. Youll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office so you should live within commuting distance of either Gurgaon or Pune. Hybrid teams may work inoffice as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter as decided by leadership. This role sits within GoDaddys Legal Technology Engineering team playing a key role in the business unit. We provide the technology platform that enables analysts attorneys and other fulfilment teams to efficiently address claims of inappropriate or illegal use related to GoDaddys products and services.

Initiating appropriate actions and demonstrating data to provide key operational insights optimising trust and safety operations across all of our products and brands.

Our team is at the heart of ensuring we can address system and product design challenges. Working across GoDaddys business units in a farreaching role touching the vast internet industry partners internal operations and product teams and executive leadership.

What youll get to do...

• Resolving production issues detected by monitoring systems data checks or customer support tickets in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborating with the immediate and peer teams to produce reusable software solutions that meet business initiatives and employ consistent design patterns
• Collaborate in an agile environment by attending standups weekly iteration planning retrospectives and showcases. Sharing experiences and flows with multifunctional teams
• Develop test and deploy applications using our CI/CD pipeline and actively write code on important projects contributing to technical documentation code reviews and collaborating with fellow engineers
• Drive engineering initiatives to reduce technical debt and ensure a strong technical foundation. Participate in Technology Business Unit wide AI and Security hackathons exploring new ways to advance and secure our platforms
• Design develop and maintain secure highly available faulttolerant and globally performant microservicesbased platforms deployed on AWS cloud
• Investigate and resolve production issues ensuring your teams DevOps oncall responsibilities

Your experience should include...

• 4 years confirmed experience in a software engineering role building largescale enterprisegrade distributed applications or solutions
• Experience with Web Services and RESTful API development and consumption and in crafting and implementing webbased REST APIs that are standardized intuitive easytouse consistent and secure
• Expertise in Cloud Based Platforms (AWS) Python Kubernetes MongoDB and Git DevOps practices and tools and agile development methodologies
• Confirmed foundation in data structures software designs and microservices and containers

You might also have...

• Experience with Elastic Search and Kibana dashboards
• Experience with API integration with SaaS and onprem services such as ServiceNow and public data services
